Our Story

Pet Peanut was born in 2017. Its creator, Bob Hotz felt something was needed that would put a smile on anyone's face. It started as a squeeze ball to relieve stress and became a beloved multi-purpose character.

It is a bright, cheery gift that is perfect for holidays, birthdays, and other special occasions. And it has the best of personalities: friendly, trusting, non-judgmental, curious, and always fun. It is impossible not to enjoy Pet Peanut's company, at any age.

Hotz says, "In the past, I wasn't a big reader of books. I enjoyed comics with their interesting or funny characters, great storylines, and cool graphics. They were also a quick, fun read, and a great inspiration for Pet Peanut.
